Playful mural for the local ceramics studio.
Through a RISCA grant in 2021, I held a painting workshop at the George Wiley Center. People involved with the center and from the community, came in to paint a square. The turn-out was multigenerational with some senior community members and some youth attending. I quilted all of the squares together forming a Quilted Community Mural for the Center. Enormous thanks and gratitude to the Camilo Vivieros, The George Wiley Center, and RISCA.
Interactive tile mural for the George Wiley Center in Pawtucket, RI. It can be displayed or separated to form social distancing markers for the Center’s food distribution and community meetings. Helped along greatly with a grant from the Providence Streets Coalition. Summer, 2020
